Join KT an experienced chef and food expert for an authentic Indian food experience in the heart of Boston. 🤌 KT will show you how to make the most popular Indian street foods from scratch.🍽 You will begin this experience by learning how to make "Chaat", a traditional Indian savory snack served as an hors d'oeuvre or sold by street vendors in India. 🥘 Chaat is an umbrella term for a wide range of authentic street foods that usually feature some kind of fried dough with various ingredients that typically create a spicy, tangy, or salty flavor, though some chaats are sweet. Chaat usually has a base which is a carb. This is the base upon which all other flavors will be piled on. You then add the sauces, the crunch and the vegetables that make up Chaat. KT will show you how to make the 2 most popular chutneys or sauces used in Chaat. 🥳Tangy Tamarind Chutney and 🤩Spicy Mint Chutney. You'll make one batch of the chutneys and then everyone will put together their own plate of Chaat!

Next you'll blend together the ingredients to make Mango Lassi! 🌟 Mango lassi is a delicious creamy drink with mango, yogurt, milk, a little sugar, and a sprinkling of cardamom. Lassis are an ancient drink originating from Northern India.📍 You will learn what ingredients go into making Mango Lassi and then blend them together to make a yummy drink! 🤤

We will then do a small tasting of the Chaat and Mango Lassi that you just made.

By the end of the night, you will learn how to make 2 types of chutneys or sauces, an easy way to make Mango Lassi and some delicious Chaat. We'll have have lots of fun on this food journey and and also you'll make some new foodie friends. 👋
